Quality lace wig or hair toppers are not cheap. When they rip accidentally, it’s hurts our pocket as much as our hearts. Nothing can stop us from thinking of saving.
Reasons for lace breakage:
1. Not the right size of your wig. When your wig is too small.
2. Stretch the lace.
3. Sliding your fingertips under the lace front.
UniWigs lace front products are with 1” extra lace to be cut off. If the lace break on the edge, that’s not a big problem, just trim the extra lace. If it refers to applying, here are some tips:
To prevent the edge of the lace from fraying or unraveling. The first step is to get a glue for application. We can use a cosmetic q-tip for this process. Apply a little bit of the glue on the q-tip, then use the q-tip to apply on the entire edge of the lace. Take a note: ONLY APPLY A LITTLE BIT!
If you apply too much, you might get white residue on the lace.
Sew the little damage if it’s in part of lace. stitching with a straightforward overcast stitch, keep the stitches small, so it’s invisible , when you brush it, it will not get caught.
